It’s better than anything Kamala would have done. It’s the lesser of two evils baw, it is what it is.

In your view, is MAGA just a name used to refer to Trump?
I view MAGA as a political Movement. MAGA is rather "dead" in the sense that Trump is a lame duck POTUS and won't be around past his current term as POTUS. But, as I said, the MAGA Movement is a political movement that must survive long after Trump is out of office, if MAGA is to help the USA in any meaningful way.
Trump has shown the way. DOGE didn't complete the job, but, it revealed enough to prove that the USA has got to follow up and complete the job. Trump exposed USAID and other ways that Obama/Biden USA spread Globo Homo world-wide at US Taxpayer expense. It will be up to the MAGA Movement to continue this work.
Now, as most of you know, my personal opinion is that the USA is, in the long run, doomed and will not survive forever. It must and will fall. But that's no excuse for failing to support the MAGA Movement in order to save the USA.

Thats a horribly low bar. She wasnt even popular enough to win a Democrat nomination, it had to be gifted.

The "conservative" path is South Africa. "Conservatives" conserve nothing, but they do bend the taxpayer over for their big money donors via bailouts and cheap third worlders to subsidize with taxpayers so that we have enough people to buy the stupid shite they are selling.

Amoral populists pretends he knows more about me than I do. This is why youre so fricking gullible and are being dragged into socialism.

Says the person who calls people names, assumes who they are, and if they have a different opinion you attack them on an anonymous message board.

I prefer we at least try practicality before riding idealism to our guaranteed deaths
I dont care if you label it socialism or communism or amoralism or whatever stupid label you decide to use

Practicality doesnt involve your activist government and lying about drug boats in Venezuela.
Conservatives want less central planning, not more like you folks do.

If so, you would actually state one.

I know it’s a low bar.
But what’s the alternative? I would have much rather had Desantis or Rubio, either of those would have wiped Kamala out as well, but the base wanted trump.

JD will be fine, I believe.
Trumps trying to remake America into something it can never be again. We need people looking to the future.

Snippets from, 'Trump the Rorschach Candidate'
Nice find. Spot on. (any way to link to the TD thread?) This essay was a great, concise assessment and description of the Trump phenomena. And yes, his "promises" really can be said to be a mirrored Red Team image and wishful thinking of Kenyan 2.0.
His repertoire of weaponized rhetoric are his big beautiful exuberance, confidence, presumption, flattery and bravado -- with a combination of Mr. Haney-style of salesmanship and casting Merlin-like magic spells. (I mean the last part literally)
The bad news in all this is the Kenyan, Potato, and Orangeman ALL serve the same global master.
quote:
He offers grandiose promises boiled down to simple concepts offered up with a hefty portion of adjectives: strong, great, big, huge, amazing...
Voters are quite literally investing themselves and parts of their psyche into this man and making him into whatever they desire him to be. Once that kind of personal investment has been made, it is quite hard to break.
Trump can and has come out with positions or policy suggestions that his supporters would normally not tolerate, and they swallow them whole.
...............
I would say Trump is brilliant for campaigning this way, whether or not I like the man, but the truth is that he is simply building upon the Obama “Hope and Change” model. He has added his understanding of marketing and salesmanship to it, but underneath, the nuts and bolts are Obama 2.0.

The problem with trying to put all the Trump supporters under one tent that is brainwashed is the system made them this way.
Ever since 2016 it's been Orange Man Bad. So, you literally made this.
