I’m talking about out-of-control deficits and debt: this is not some insignificant quibble over some minor policy issue. Granted, this problem existed before Trump, but the CARES Act and the so-called Big Beautiful Bill massively accelerated it.
By any objective measure, the current fiscal trajectory is simply unsustainable. At some point gravity is going to take over and it is not going to be a soft landing for any of us.

Correct. Banning (or trying to) bump stocks is something we could get from Obama, but it's not going to change the trajectory of the US. Our spending will, and he's worse than Bush and as bad as Obama when it comes to spending.
