Thing is, he probably could have fired him for any reason

Except an unlawful one

Which he just admitted to over twitter

I’d love to see the mayor’s face the first time the city’s lawyer explains that to him

I love my sister and we don’t agree on anything politically regardless, no one will tell me to bad mouth her in public.

They usually have the strongest employment laws
very true.

But this SHOULD be pursued by the DOJ as a civil rights violation by the state upon a citizen, not a labor law issue.

Naw.

If a federal agency investigates, it will be the EEOC. This would be specifically within their jurisdiction.

What was really to gain by doing this?

Maoist re-education. Similar to what they tried to do to Gina Carano at Disney. Berate, best down, humiliate and they would have fired her, anyway, quietly. She was too smart for that.

Assuming they complete discovery in that case before settling, it will be shocking for the normies, IMHO. This is a small scale version of that.

Looks like brother tried to thread the needle. "What do you want me to say?". No. It has to come from you. *Brother makes a statement*. No. That's not good enough. You're fired.

If you can't understand that the re-education humiliation ritual is to enforce compliance on the other members of the staff, then I don't know what to tell you.

“Fulop was born in Edison, New Jersey, to Jewish parents…”

When in doubt, check the “Early Life” section.
