Best idea I've seen yet.

You should be on staff.

Assuming you meant we were going to be in control of 100% of fish tacos.

Yep.

EDIT: Were it not for that little gem of a detail I would—as much as I hate the constant conspiracy theory culture of populism—be suspicious that our own government put out that tweet to send a message to the cartels.

"You think we're not serious about lighting y'all up? Here's how easy it would be to manufacture all kinds of public support for such an operation."

But if so, they very clumsily over played their hand. They might as well have said, "With weapons obtained from Russia and Ukraine, but mainly from Afghanistan when Biden totally botched the withdrawal of troops, at the same time he was shamefully weaponizing the DOJ against me—I mean, against his political enemies."

There is a big difference between the cartels and Taliban/ISIS. If we decided tomorrow to withdraw totally from the ME and stay on our side of the Atlantic, they would be happy and leave us alone by and large.

The cartels exist because their buyers here pay them to exist. They'll keep coming so long as we are buying. We indirectly fund their operations. They have a product(s) that the American public wants....and needs. They are richer and more organized than the Taliban or ISIS.

I doubt that they want the kind of heat bringing down a passenger plane would bring. Bad for business and unnecessary

Isn’t this Beanz girl a Laura Loomer wannabe? I’m not on Twitter/X anymore but seems I remember reading something a few years back that some of her “reporting” was questionable. I remember she had video of her house burning down. Could be wrong or a different person, though.

A DEA agent once told me that he arrested a high end drug dealer.....an American who when interrogated proceeded to tell the agent the agent's address , wife's name, kids names and where they went to school. He said, you do homework on us, we do homework on you. We know you and your whole team....and then named them. Freaked the guy out. Drug dealer spent time in a Supermax after that. But not before Uncle Sam relocated the families and bought them new houses in different locales.

Drug dealer was replaced by someone else who was even more dangerous

Now their terrorists. Different game. No need to worry about dealers in us if supply disappears.
Kill the crops and presto, the rest dries up.

Go in, protect their government, and raid, burn, destroy their setup.
If there is any resistance, send in hard airstrikes
Then work in Columbia

It's so easy

You follow that with this story.

These are the same animals that are pushing fentanyl across the border, trafficking women/girls, and have zero qualms with killing police, politicians, and reporters. I'm sure they've learned to try and be more blatant in their tactics, but their brutality is the same. They still don't value human life. Just because they are being a little smarter and using profit as the main goal, will not dissuade them from going full blown Escobar if they feel threatened.

Bold to believe communists employ reasoning for their beliefs. Their rationale is solely based on a skewed view of economics that has been proven to fail in the medium-to-long run

The only worry I have with the Cartels and our Military getting into it, is the Cartel starting open warfare in US Cities, start hanging skinned bodies from american bridges, etc..

There are a couple of defense contractors just south of LA that excel in military drone production...a whole fckg lot of them.

They could send dozens daily for over 2 years and not run out of product. It is doable. Only thing needed is resolve.

I don't think it's accurate to compare Cartel members to Islamic terrorist groups. Both have very different motivations and core beliefs. Where an Islamic terrorist may be willing to suffer and die for their ideology belief to the very end, would a cartel member be willing to do the same when he sees the walls crumbling around him? Are his motivations strong enough to stay the course?

It's certainly fun fantasizing about the US military wiping out these cartels, but practically it would probably get very ugly and I don't think we as a people are willing to pay the human cost it would take to dig them out. Especially considering we are basically the reason they exist.

Wouldn't it be some shite if those Ukrainian missiles sold to the cartels were provided by the U.S.

They both kill, rape, maim innocents to produce their desired results. There is not one redeeming quality from either group. Only solution is annihilation.

No, they are products. Widgits or staplers. Just products that require additional expenses.
