Amnesty means the end of the republican party in a lot of states. Just dig up Ronald Regan and ask him how that worked for California.

I really wish our Founding Fathers had spent a little more time considering the pros & cons of the topic of birthright citizenship.
That and our federal and state governments giving so many handouts that incentivize people to cross the border for a better quality of life versus fixing their own countries.
This is a horrible position our country is in right now with respect to the mass invasion on our southern border.

Don't blame the Founding Fathers. It was the post Civil War Congress passing the Fourteenth Amendment with very little discussion about the implications.
