They want to give me 6000 more? As much as my stock portfolio would like that, anyone who likes this idea is greedy and doesn’t understand the ramifications for the future.

So another unemployment trap for low income earners.

Married couples would receive $4,000 and an extra $2,000 would be provided for each child up to three.
So a married couple with 4 children and a $100,000/yr income would get an additional $144,000?
Anybody making more than $120,000 and less than $200K who is married with kids should be taking unpaid sabaticals to get their income down...

the people will be lined up around the corner to get theirs...
Why they gotta top it out at $120K??? I want mine too dammit....
It won't pass but if it did it would be around for ever and Trump would sign it into law in a heart beat....to not do so would be admitting he wasn't remotely interested in a second term

WASHINGTON — With the coronavirus pandemic sending unemployment in the U.S. to its highest rate since the Great Depression, three Senate Democrats have introduced a plan for Americans to receive $2,000 per month until this crisis ends.
quote:
Under the plan, Americans who make less than $120,000 a year would receive a monthly $2,000 coronavirus stimulus check. Married couples would receive $4,000 and an extra $2,000 would be provided for each child up to three.
Harris said it's clear the $1,200 one-time check Americans received from the $2.2 trillion CARES Act "wasn't nearly enough to meet the needs of this historic crisis."
the way they are setting fire to money wasting it for giveaways to illegals and dimrat operative groups, hell, i guess i can be ok with getting something back. they were just going to give that money away anyway so why not let us have a little extra cash

Somethings off with your math... how does a max of 10k = 144k?

I would not qualify. But I'll sure as hell will be paying for that stupidity. Open up the country and let people work.

Me too. Going to need that land to hunt and grow your own food because the economy will implode and your money won't be worth the paper it's printed on. Add in a couple of cases of ammo as well will probably need it.....

$2000 per kid? For what? I mean I have 3 kids (19 is the youngest) and yes they’re expensive but I promise you I didn’t spend that kind of money per kid each month.
This is all just dumb.
This is all just dumb.

pandering to their base
Throwing somebody else's money at them is a perfect example of pandering.
The fact that elections involving these halfwits are even close is depressing.
