I think there's maybe a 10% chance Trump is aware of the fact that Qatar houses our largest MENA base and several American university branches

I mean I'm sure Mattis or Tillerson or something has told him at one point but you can't really expect a brain that syphilitic to retain new information

Did that make you giggle when you typed it?

What has happened to you?

They're from the President, so yes it's official...doesn't matter the medium used. They are forever archived just like any other statement.

I love his tweeting. The media despises the fact the can talk directly to the public without them being involved.

Ahhh the delusion.

He's doing a fine job, isn't he folks?

They are more his inner monologue than official statements. Obviously since they are very public they are seen as official statements, but they're more just whatever pops into his head.

No you don't. Today Trump's a syphilitic moron, tomorrow an evil genius who managed to make a deal with the Russians to get into the Oval Office in such a manner that no one can find any evidence...

The Qataris are corrupt duplicitous little twits who play all sides off one another. When Obama let some of the trash in Gitmo out, guess where they went? Qatar. When they "disappeared" it was in Qatar. They are not any better than the Saudis......IMHO.

Because they both invest in and patronize Trump properties?

or

Because we don't have major bases in the KSA or UAE and thus its not as "exciting" to Trump.

Saudis And The UAE Will Donate $100 Million To A Fund Inspired By Ivanka Trump

Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates will donate a combined $100 million to a World Bank fund for women entrepreneurs that was the brainchild of Ivanka Trump.

The announcement by World Bank President Jim Young Kim came during a visit to Saudi Arabia by President Trump, who was accompanied by his wife, Melania, daughter Ivanka and son-in-law, Jared Kushner.

I'm surprised they have enough time to donate with all the heads they chop off

We have significant bases in UAE, the one in Saudi is pretty pointless.

Between this and the article 5 thing (affirmation of the latter is something both Tillerson and Mattis thought was in Trump's speech) I wouldn't be shocked to either leaks or outright resignations from State and Defense in the coming months.

State is already leaking like a sieve, it's just not very interesting stuff. You can only write so many variations on "Tillerson doesn't leave his office and no one knows what's going on."
