Under normal circumstances I would agree with you
However, this election showed media bias and a lot other trends which were different than any past elections. While the people thinking he had a chance came off as conspiracy theorists, those conspiracies turned out to be very real.
I think it's petty and dishonest to refuse to change your opinion that they are "idiots"
Keep in mind we're talking about people who thought he had a chance, there were very few true believers here who weren't trolls.
However, this election showed media bias and a lot other trends which were different than any past elections. While the people thinking he had a chance came off as conspiracy theorists, those conspiracies turned out to be very real.
