I’m one of them.
I just never signed in anymore. So much shitty and irrelevant content that just doesn’t appeal to me. Hard to tell what’s on there that actually interests me.
You have to sift through miles of their shitty original content to find something that you like. And that something was probably made years ago, not made by by Netflix, and might only be on there for a few months.

Nah. Just more competition
Bull shite. They went public and took a stance on some woke stupidity.
People were on social.media openly discussing options and unsubscribing.

Did they go public about this today? I mean why the massive drop AT ONE TIME?
You can't be this stupid

He's saying a woke stance cost them a massive amount of subs. They've been openly woke for several years.
They want badly to establish a narrative when one isn't needed.

Bongino has been an advocate of a parallel economy for some time now. I would love to see all the freak pandering corporations get run into the dirt.

So yeah, talking out of your arse.

No, they have really pushed the buttons recently. I would expect Disney to miss in either this report or the next.

No no. They missed last quarter too.
What's happening is a massive shift:
1- Yes there are only so many people to subscribe. But the truth is it's not that expensive to use several. At all. So fighting for the "same dollars" is not a valid argument.
Disney Plus is $7.99 Or you can get the Disney Bundle with Hulu (ad-supported) for $13.99/month or with Hulu (No Ads) for $19.99/month.
NetFlix is $9.99 to $19.99
So for as little as $18 and as high as $40, you can get all of that!
HBO MAX is FREE
Paramount.... FREE.
It's not a pricing issue.
2- People are sick of hearing "We are going to shove this down your throat" and content based on social "issues".
I am one of THOSE people. I have canceled Netflix, Disney bundle.... DONE! Don't tell me you are going to foce me and my kids to watch content that GROOMS them.

Article also said they had suspended service in Russia, which basically amounts to 700,000 accounts deactivated. Don't know how that plays into things, but it just illustrates how out-of-touch the company is. What are those Russian streamers supposed to do about politics?
I cancelled about 4 years ago, too. Cancelled before the gay Jesus, Obamas, and Pedo-shows became a thing, but the writing was all over the wall.

The overwhelming majority of people are not canceling for political issues in regards to Netflix. They have raised prices and other platforms have really picked up steam related to original content.
There are many services now that people are choosing one or the other.
You guys are really working hard on a narrative. There is no need. Just be happy you're getting the results you want regardless of the circumstances.

I think it’s possible. It’s not that people are reacting to them suddenly going woke; it’s that people are suddenly starting to act against woke companies. The right has been slow to embrace cancel culture, but the beast is awakening.

Trumpers are desperate to claim a victory wherever their arms may reach (however inaccurately) for one. Don't bring logic to the PT or TD or apparently anywhere on the net nowadays. It's followed only by the ridicule from the narrow-minded.

And totally ignored this facts. So I will post those again in hopes of a response:

They have raised prices
