4 out of 10 is better than expected, IMO.
Agree.
Venezuela was a bit different and in our hemisphere. I think there's quite a few Americans who:
1 - Don't want another boots on the ground, national building Middle East venture. That's still pretty fresh in the overall American public's mind, Reps, conservatives, libertarians, Dems and commies alike.
2 - There seems to be a growing contempt for Israel and us always seemingly doing their bidding, right or wrong. You see it on this board.
3 - Probably 4 out of 10 of every American is just going to be against anything Trump does. He's just that polarizing, right or wrong. It is what it is.
So actually, I think a 40% or so approving of military action is probably in line, and maybe a bit higher than I would of originally thought.
Only an idiot or someone completely sheltered in their own bubble would think "I bet it's really 80%!".

Agree. And I doubt we'll know the true overall outcome until several years from now.
Do we get involved with a bunch of troops on the ground like Iraq and Afghanistan? If we eventually do, whether while Trump is still President or after, then I'm sure it'll be overall viewed negatively.
If the Iran people can take control of their government and return the country to one that actually has some respect for human rights and doesn't rule with Sharia Law, then this should ultimately be viewed as one of the best military decisions ever made by a President of the United States.
We'll see over the next decade how it plays out.

Wack, even though I disagree with you on foreign policy, I respect your consistency. This board flip has been wild.
Same.
I completely disagree with isolationism and IMO the net positive effects of maintaining American hegemony are obvious.
But MAGA is not cheering the concept of maintaining American hegemony.
They're just cheering Trump. If he was advocating for the opposite, they'd cheer for that.
I have no idea what these people are going to do when Trump is gone. They will not know what to be for.
Quite literally.

Other polls show opposite. Reuters had a bad skewed one too. Saw it on Turley today.

A lot of them will just turn off. They didn't vote in elections before Trump and they probably won't after Trump.

That’s 4-10 Democrats, and they aren’t even honest enough about that themselves
