Not disputing anything you've just posted but ICE hasn't said publicly that they were fired on and they returned fire. Even though its an ongoing investigation they would have lead with that.

I didn't say he didn't have a gun. What I was saying was they didn't say he that he raised or actually took it out.They just said he had a gun on him which he was a licensed gun owner and had a carry permit. I was just saying if it were cut n dry they would have stated that. I retired from law enforcement and when they were taking him to the ground after he was peppered sprayed and still couldn't restrain him with the numbers they had showed lack of training.

until we know what olive jacket was reacting to, its endless speculation. What we do know is that he was observing the melee up until grey jacket removed the dead man's pistol. Either he was mistaken in exactly who removed the pistol or he saw something else that happening on the ground that warranted him pulling his sidearm.
I also don't care for how grey jacket handled things. The video doesn't pick up any audio that would indicate he was communicating with the other officers. Yes the dead guy was armed, but the weapon was secured. Unholstering a sidearm in a pile of bodies engaged in an intense struggle could easily lead other officers ro believe he retrieved a weapon.

Yep. The new narrative from NOEM is that the officers prevented a mass shooting of other officers. She knows exactly what she’s doing with her statement

That settles it in my mind. His gun accidentally went off in the LEO’s hands, and then the other LEO started shooting. Very unfortunate incident, the but-for causes of which are (1) Mr. Resister larping while LEO was trying to do an Op and (2) him carrying a gun.

Watch the videos posted last page. That gun went off in the Officer’s hand. Then they shot him. fricked up
