If a national mandate for abortion was that Popular than Pro lifers would have swarmed the polls in 2022.

They didn’t.

Trump is the first openly pro choice Republican presidential candidate in 30-40 years.

What is the point in Republicans winning if they become Democrats to do it? Trump is essentially bill Clinton at this point. His debate answer may be “safe legal and rare

Trump single handedly gave pro lifer the biggest win of the last 50 year many thought they would never see in their lifetimes yet you people are still miserable and crying

What does that do for me in 2026?

Trump ran as pro life before.

Will he nominate the same type of justice?

What happens when Congress full of now pro choice Republicans following Trumps lead get a bill from house dems for a national mandate with 20 weeks

Why should I as a pro life republican be happy that my nominee has flipped to pro choice after the nomination?

Mitch Mconnell how so? You need a Republican president and Mitch has undermined republican the last 7 years he’s the reason Republicans lost the senate. Now he’s working to undermine the current nominee so they can push through more radical abortion laws. Not to mention he rubber stamped all Dems abortion funding.

What it gets you in 2026 is the ability for your state to seriously restrict abortion.

Yes. There is no reason to suggest otherwise.

Now you're just making shite up and arguing just to argue. Pro-lifers got their biggest win in 50 years and you're bitching about the man who got it for us. Good lord.

Again, quit making perfect the enemy of the good.

Well, 6 weeks isn't on the ballot, per se. The radical barbaric dem view is on the ballot. So he's voting No. I'll take it.

I kept my powder dry on this one because I figured Orangeman would find a better spot than where he was 24 hrs ago. Good for him. I don't agree with him fully of course but I understand this is a tactically wise move in the long war. Pro-lifers need to understand this is going to take time and if we want to save as many lives as possible we have to be tactically sound.

As President, Trump won't be signing abortion legislation now that it is a state issue. A national ban on abortion will never pass Congress so it's mute that he would veto it.

A pro choice democrat and now apparently pro choice republican movement may now sign legislation to allow abortions and that will be rubber stamped by our apparently pro choice nominee

Its in the states hands now

This!!! Why people continue to entertain this issue is stupid. The topic is dead at the federal level, it never should have been a federal issue.

Trump shouldn't even entertain this topic.
There's nothing he or any elected federal person can do. If people have an issue, they need to deal with it in their state government.

Next?
