No.

He has no significant black support to speak of.

That can change as he surges. I think relying on blacks hating gays to blunt Pete is tenuous at best.

I disagree. Name 1 candidate with a Buttigieg background that's ever resonated with black voters. No way they trust him.

Pete went from 0% to a grand total of 4% amongst blacks in the last round of polls after Iowa.

Don't let good showings in lily white states confuse you.

This is crazy Sanders should’ve had this over by now. I’m somewhat surprised

There is also zero motivation around him either.

Is Pete the favorite at this point? The betting markets don’t say so but he’s outperformed bigly, Pocahontas and Biden are done, and Sanders looks much weaker compared to 2016. Someone has to win this damn thing

No. It's a really interesting result, but

1.) These were the only two states he has any sort of campaign structure setup in

2.) He has almost literally zero minority support.

It he can come in 2nd in Nevada and SC, he may be something real, but it's going to look really bad for him before we get to Super Tuesday. He's going to lose in the south like Biden is losing tonight.

Speaking of... here is his speech.

This isn't just a black thing. Dems of all races will not vote for him because of this.

Who in the hell is relying on it? It simply happens to be a reality. Check out some polls showing his almost total lack of black support and get back to me.

If Sanders’ team was worth a shite, they would’ve already push his old arse on the stage to steal the spotlight from Pete.

It’s 11pm on the East Coast. You only get one shot at this before the media tells everyone what the narrative is
