Haley and Ron's purpose wasn't to win the general election, it was the GOPe's Hail Mary to damage Trump enough to lose the general.

I have family in 19 different states scattered from coast to coast. The business that I am in puts me in touch with people from all over the country. I am pretty sure that between you and I the one being "out of touch with the mainstream voter" would be seen when you look in the mirror. You may consider this a echo chamber but the vast majority of the people I am in contact with would disagree with you 100%. Also, I have some family that are very liberal and have changed stance on the Democrat party. They will hold their nose and vote republican because the Dem party has jumped the shark with all of the woke BS they are pushing.

Which IMO they failed out because Trump was smart enough to not fall for the "debate or a coward" trap.
All they have is federal persecution at this point, and Ron and Haley are banking on that. Which is a stain on them. I'd rather have Dems in, knowing what I'm getting, then a RINO.

That is great and all but it still is statistically irrelevant. Also I'm sure some may not even be forthright with people who are asking who they are voting for anyway. The demographic that matters is probably the suburban moms in purple states so unless you know thousands of those then the hearsay convos don't really stack up to anything.
