I am not against a "green" national plan but I would be more apt to call it a Green Moonshot or a Green Manhattan Project. I have a feeling that Cortez doesn't have the same thing in mind. She just wants to tax us into oblivion and control our lives. She uses the environment as a pretext for her communistic ideas.
You see, the lefties have no real plan to SOLVE the problem. All they want to do is punish people. "No, you can't keep your thermostat on that temperature and you must buy a smart meter so we can monitor your power usage" or "No, you are only allowed to put X tons of carbon into the atmosphere per year" or "No, you cannot buy that kind of car."
Whatever the case, the green shite will sort itself out. As technology progresses, prices will come down. Solar panels are getting better, more efficient and cheaper. Battery technology is progressing and soon enough we will have the night time storage problem solved (night time and rainy day storage is the biggest issue with solar). One day we will have a working fusion reactor and all of this will be a thing of the past (until the lefties come up with another emergency to take away more liberties).
