I think most republicans have a different take than old Adam. Trump didn’t overtake the party, the party needed a new direction. The same old crap wasn’t getting it done.

I don’t think wins are a necessity each time. I think a change in course is the goal. Trump’s personality dominates headlines but he a symbol of that change. Every politician is a horrible human being, but Trump doesn’t pretend. That’s why old school republicans don’t like him.
