That was the “ i hope Mike Pence does the right thing “ bit that Trump said and the “hang Mike Pence” chant was about ..:they (trump and his followers) wanted to stop the count and install Trump president
So, yeah, being called an insurrection and attempted coup is bit strong but what else do you call what happened? Can’t say protest bc people wanted to stop Mike Pence…can’t even say riot (it’s why the BLM comparison is moronic) bc people wanted to thwart the election results and install Trump who was defeated, as President
