Trump won. She didn't win. Either they voted for the Democrat or they didn't vote for a senator. Why would spending more money get these people to change their mind?

Dems spent $50MM convincing Arizonans that don't follow politics closely that Gallego was a moderate, was tough on the border, was an inflation fighting family man.
It's fair to suggest that if Mitch had invested in her campaign, she could have had a better shot.

A lot of voters ticket split
seems obvious that's what's happened in Arizona as for why they obviously have the reasons the voters that voted for Trump and not lake but there's always a contingent of ticket splitters especially in a race that gets as much heat as this one
I haven't looked at the numbers because I don't think they have this broken down yet
yet but I wonder how many independents voted for Trump and didn't vote for Lake

Vast majority of MAGA voters did NOT vote for Gallego. The few that maybe did, would not be near enough.

What about the House races numbers for Democrats. The discrepancy between the Democrat house numbers and Gallego is harder to explain

MAGA isn't as big of a group as you think it is.
I'd be willing to bet a large sum that independents split their ballot as Lake is not popular outside her base.
