Ballots mailed out as late as the day of the election come in on different days and different counties I assume. At some point you have to cut off the mail in ballots and finish this

Question on this race. If neither candidate gets 50%+1 does it go to a runoff?
Latest total this morning Lake is behind about 45K with a large amount of votes still to count. She could take the lead but neither will top 50%

Why the hell do they only have to Sunday? They still have not counted over 600k ballots.

The point is Lake herself just isn't a good political candidate, even for a swing state like Arizona.
If Lake was in fact the best option for this race, it's unfortunate someone better couldn't rise up. Arizona is good at screwing up Senate races just like Georgia.

Yeah, it fricking ridiculous. The state of Arizona should be humiliated. It's simple, set a date counts must completed by and arrange voting and counting to accommodate.
Seriously, those folks aren't retarded. They could fix this problem, but then it would be harder to cheat.

Sitting on a gain of 15-20k in Cochise and a couple of other strong R counties, so it’s gonna come down to how true it is that Mohave turns more red as the rest of the votes there get counted

Curing happens because voters don’t have the necessary credentials and vote provisionally on Election Day or the ballots are unreadable and required the voter to verify their ballots. There has to be a deadline for this or it would never end. This is why teams of people are important in this phase. Help find the voter and once found get them to cure the ballot.
