Trump really does have steel balls. Less than a week after almost dying, he’s out in the open unprotected for a long time.

“This reminds Democrats who Donald Trump really is.”

What, a stand up comedian? Sure it should have been a bit more brief, but he was funny during it.

I lost it at “The Late, Great Hannibal Lector.”

There’s no way that was written, and funny as frick!

I've got to say after watching that, Trump is a master of either reading from the teleprompter, hearing the voice in his ear, or is a god damn savant. He quoted the number of missiles launched into Israel "462". Dude absolutely crushed that speech I don't care who you are his mental acumen was off the charts. Now, whether you agree with it or not.... that's another question.

The MSM panels are all saying that this speech breathes new life into the Democrats hopes for November. Basically, the Democrats know how to beat this Trump. I think they were afraid that he would come out and sing Kumbaya and suddenly idiotic suburban white women who vote against their own interests would flock to him.

What I noticed is that Trump highlighted all of the failures of our nation and his typical MAGA hyperbole without a lot of cheap shots that the old Trump would have taken. No mention of Joe’s dementia. No mention of the Democrats current clusterfrick. He hammered them on issues that normal people care about.

So they're gaslighting as usual? Who would have guessed?

Is it really that different than Kai or the other grandkids that are close to his age? I get it's a little different but he's also a boy and he's older and I mean Kai gave a speech

Yes. But whether it was a great speech or not, the only thing that will be remembered about it is his description of the assassination attempt. I’m surprised CNN hasn’t fact checked any of that.

Convention speeches by the presidential nominees are rarely remembered. In the current political environment, this speech is out of the headlines by lunch tomorrow. The image of Trump embracing the fire gear will stick, but that’s about it.

Several Things Can Be True At The Same Time About This Convention:

- Best RNC Since 2004 if not best one ever
- Trump went on for too long and by doing so left some points on the field. Cutting him some slack because of the week he’s had, but we’ve seen him give fire SOTU speeches and would’ve been awesome if it had been the same energy & tightness of those.
- The firefighter gear on stage was brilliant
- Trump’s speech didn’t hurt him at all. It’s silly seeing CNN and others say this opened the door for the Democrats. Most people will just see clips of the beginning.
- The GOP and Trump campaign did a good job reaching non-traditional, everyday voters.
- The Gold Star Family Video/Speech might’ve been the most powerful segment of any convention ever.
- Trump’s intro video tonight should’ve been tossed out for something a little more emotional & inspirational. He’s shared stuff on his own social that was better than that.
- This is Trump’s third Presidential campaign and the last four days was the best attempt to humanize him and showing his family side
- Lee Greenwood on Monday was goosebumps
- Lee Greenwood on Thursday missed the mark
- All Trumps needed their speech time cut by 15%
- Melania is hotter than ever
- There’s a reason why I’m posting here from my couch instead of being in Milwaukee running the Trump campaign

I don’t know. I’ve seen many even on here say they turned the speech off - I did. And a I haven’t listened to a single pundit today. It was disappointing.

All he had to do is ask if people are better off than his Presidency. That’s pretty much it - and then point out inflation, wars, the border, etc.

Easy, easy, easy wins.

He would begin doing it and then go off in a different area - and bringing up 2020 - ugh.

While it may not have hurt him, maybe, this sure as hell didn’t help him.
