The analogy isn't perfect, baw, but it's solid and your post mixes unnecessary insults with some reasonable questions as well as some silliness (this lowballed estimate by an outlier contrarian says only 2.5 million lives were saved which is 2.5 million more than you credit it for).
If you're interested in legit answers, I'm game if you can bear me continuing to exist.

No it did not.
The number 1 killer were the doctors not using medicine that worked and not using the correct protocal.
This number has now been over taken by the number of people that have died from the mRNA shot themselves. People that took the shots are dying at increased rates due to the damage the shots do to your immune system. These people are NOT listed as mRNA deaths, but the number of deaths due to myocarditis, stroke, cancer and autoimmune diseases has increased since the rollout of the mRNA shots.
Countries with high vaccination rates are having a harder time with the new variants and have a higher rate of unexpected deaths than countries with very low vaccination rates.

One if the major issues is data. Anyone remotely familiar with science and medicine would have mandated tracking of anyone getting the mRNA vaccine so that short term and long term effects could be monitored. Instead, the data is so intentionally fricked up that we may never be able to separate effects of covid vs. the vaccine. Some of the best data available is from the CDC showing about a 30% increase in all cause mortality (depending on age group) with an inflection point showing the time of vaccine release, not when covid started.
An example of the fricked up data - not considered vaccinated until 2 weeks after injection. So, if someone drops dead 3 minutes after their covid vaccine injection, it definitely wasn't the vaccine.

Also those who died within the first 14 days (iirc) after being vaccinated were counted as unvaccinated deaths.

And if you got fricked up by the first mRNA shot during the trials and couldn't get the second shot because you would probably have died, well that wasn't an adverse effect because you didn't complete the trial.
