So that means they would rather see Trump do badly, okay, than our country do well. That’s what it means. It’s very selfish. And it got to a point where I really didn’t even want to look too much during the speech over to that side. Because, honestly, it was bad energy. That was bad energy.
You’re up there, you’ve got half the room going totally crazy, wild — they loved everything, they want to do something great for our country. And you have the other side, even on positive news — really positive news, like that — they were like death and un-American. Un-American.
Somebody said, “treasonous.” I mean, yeah, I guess, why not? (Laughter.) Can we call that treason? Why not? (Applause.) I mean, they certainly didn’t seem to love our country very much.
I think he had a good point.
And for pulling standard fake news spin, I say F U Big12fan. I do it myself!

There's a big difference bewteeen a few antifa thugs in Berkeley and a bunch of anonymous progressives on a message board and the President of the United States.
You don't think authoritarian regimes and illiberal democracies the world over are watching and listening to this rhetoric? And when it's reported that they carried out purges in their countries they'll just claim "Fake News"

Treason legally defined by US code is willfully conspiring with foreign actors to overthrow the government of the United States.
Sedition is willfully conspiring with domestic actors to overthrow the US government.
It all boils down to what is considered an attempt to overthrow the government
of the United States.
If attempting to remove an elected President of the United States through malicious and conspiratorial means with active assistance from a foreign actor can be broadly defined as an attempt to overthrow the US government as it is a bit vague, then the Hillary campaign and the DNC have committed treason if any of these actions occurred after the inauguration.

Libyan officials already used it when videos of slave trading surfaced. There's several more examples, go read Foreign Affairs, The Economist or CFR bro.
