So your position is that I was justified in my appreciation of OBL's death, but I should condemn Soleimani's?

Nope.

Agreed, but I do think there is an isolationist faction of Trump supporters who don't like neocon meddling and are put off by moves like this.

You realize the bastards were attacking our embassy, right?

Yet my reply was more than sufficient.

What's next, "I know you are but what am I?"

When you pick and choose 8 words, out of several reasoned responses, it does indeed mean something...WORDS MEAN THINGS.

Don't get carried away.

Your responses have been emotional and erratic, as usual.

Why pretend that isn't true
because it isn't

So then it's:

"You can condemn both, just don't compare them because they hold 0 parallels."

You just want to argue.

I love a good troll on the OT. But I do try to give people the benefit of the doubt here (even though I know people do troll this board a lot as well.)

No, they wouldn't have and you know it. This guy was declared a terrorist by the United States all the way back in 2005. I don't care if the man to take him out would have been named Bush or Obama, I would be rejoicing all the same. Any man (or woman) who goes after U.S. servicemen is a target who must be terminated with extreme prejudice.

It's amazing how many of you take this as some personal attack.

It isn't. It's an observation, and one that's verifiably accurate.

If it's verifiable then you must have some evidence. Please link me to previous posts that I have made, attacking Obama for killing men and women who attacked American citizens/servicemen.

I'll be waiting patiently.

If Obama had ordered the strike last night, the vast majority of the people bashing Trump (it took CNN about 20 minutes to turn the story into a "TRUMP IS RECKLESS" angle, as usual) would be saying "I'm sure he had info that forced him to make that decision", including the majority of the anti-Obama people. Sadly, because its Trump, NOTHING he does is looked at as anything but, "It was a bad decision". Sad. And boring, at this point.

are you cherry picking opinion headlines. Most everything I've seen reported regardless of news site is that the general being killed is a good thing

some are continuing with thinking what future implications with war might be but i have to see one person saying his death was bad. Including the Democrats running for president.

You may be correct but I think the reason would be that something like this would be out of character for BHO. If he had been consistent in standing up to Iran and other brazen enemies, maybe some of his detractors would not be so stubborn in their resistance to all things Obama.

Now as far as the comparison between this guy and OBL, I'd agree with you if we had gone into Iran and struck his arse down. But when you are running around a foreign country where you are known to be directing terrorist militias and actually with one of the militia leaders at the time of your death, you could make the argument that they are very similar??
