Vandy is small but it doesnt help.

Big medical center and given how the medical field has moved from center-right to crazy left-wing I can see Vandy being part of the problem.

All that is terrible. It's the only sure-fire outcome of urbanization.

Doesn't matter what state or even what country. As soon as people create a city of a certain size, seems like they all start to lean left. I think it has something to do with learned helplessness. Not sure.

It also feeds itself, because growing urban areas tend to attract more lefties.

Who knows, can't fix it. Reason #999,999 why I'm glad I live way out in the boonies.

I'm glad that I'm old, and will be off this planet in coming few decades..

Even the good old USA gonna collapse eventually..

Trump and the White Hats are but a speed bump..massive sealed Fed indictments or not...Book of Revelation has a story to fulfill.

Love that orange bastard..but MAGA is a pipe dream..too many saboteurs and useful idiots to overcome. Demographics are destiny.

Nashville native here. Loved the city but we saw where it was heading 20 years ago and moved to Franklin in a ring county a few years later.

You made a very good decision.

We moved to Nashville from La in 1986. We had a similar ice storm in 94(?). We were out of power for a week. But, in the countryside it was out for a month or longer.

Now, we live in the country about 30 minutes northeast of Nashville. We were out of power for 3 days. So, the situations have been reversed. The country power company is Cumberland Electric. They have maintained aggressive tree trimming since 94. Nashville’s power is NES, and based on the description of the DEI and liberal policies, the results show the stark differences between the two power companies, and how liberal agendas can affect innocent people who didn’t vote for it.

I’ve also observed first hand how Nashville has drifted to the left. 40 years ago it was not like this.
