Yes hell there is, it would entail some very hard decisions by some though. I’m willing to sacrifice to live in a country free of the demented arse Left.

So you're against the Democrat Party's push for adding 4 additional seats to the USSC?

My initial reaction is it’s not a good idea, but honestly haven’t given it much thought.
I’d be open to hearing pros and cons as long as it not a violation of the constitution.

Could be as easy as allowing people to move within a two year adjustment period with no sales tax or fees being assessed based on your personal preferences, after which you would be forced to renounce citizenship to the other nation.

Yea, that seems incredibly simple.

Haven’t you heard? Forcing millions of people to up and relocate is going to go by so smoothly.

Are you serious?

You voted for the fringe.

Biden offered handouts and free healthcare to illegals in a debate.

Biden said your 2020 riots weren't a big deal and Kamala helped set up a bailout fund for you rioting Democrats.

Biden is flying illegals all across the country and dumping them on taxpayers.

You are the fringe because you voted for it.

Yea I mean the other guy laid it out perfectly. We could simply give people sales tax breaks and have tens of millions of people relocating over a two year period. I'm sure that would go smoothly and would not result in armed conflict of any kind.

Man, I was really ready to give you one of these had you simply said, "Obviously."

Instead, you waffled as if there was any Constitutional argument for it other than hard feelings and general butt hurt for having lost elections and lost USSC justices at bad times.

These only occured peacefully because the Czechs and Slovaks (and the Montenegrins/Serbs) were already divided into culturally/racially/linguistically homogenous territories within the former countries. Those boundaries were already in place. We have nothing approaching that.

This is grossly incorrect.

That being said, outside of the Czech Republic, and East Timor, stuff like this is usually quite painful.

Don’t forget about the power grab that would ensue. There would be several coalitions formed and a race to obtain commodities. Then all of the sudden you will be living in a world with no economic certain, emerging conflicts over territory, and the eradication of anyone deemed to not think like you do.

Damn it’s almost like history repeating itself.

Once a split would take place, their monetary advantage goes negative. frick them and their pompous ambitions.

The question is how do you move the poor in each section that have no means to move.

If the red state nation forces them to work through reductions in welfare offerings it would take care of itself.

I've noticed this entire thread you've offered objections to why it should not be attempted, but virtually no solutions for our current situation which has people considering it.

How do you solve our current situation, where diametrically opposed parties each control virtually half of each side of the country? How do you vote yourself into unity from there?

Well, Czechoslovakia was an outcome of WW1 and peacefully separated into two countries in 1992 through the Velvet Revolution. So I’m not sure where you are coming up with the Czech Republic being a side effect of WW2 or either the Czech Republic or Slovakia separating through war.

Montenegro peacefully separated from Serbia through a referendum.

Slovenia unilaterally voted to separate from Yugoslavia and successfully insulated itself from the conflict that followed between Serbs, Bosnians, Bosnian Serbs, and Croatians.

Croatia was involved in the Yugoslav conflicts but not for the entire duration and not to the degree of the Serbs, Bosnians, Bosnian Serbs, Kosovars, etc.

And regardless, Croatia is much better off now. Ask almost any Croat if he or she would like to return to the state prior to the separation. The answer would be almost unanimously a resounding no.
