Using your logic since Texas, La. , Miss., Ala., and Florida didn’t want to be a part of a liberal Biden led government it would be OK for Mexico to invade the US to make things right? I know my analogy is absurd, but it’s about what you are saying. Russia had the moral right to invade their neighbor because they felt that Ukrainians should be able to choose which leadership they want depending on who is president.

It is hard for people to believe that what Putin did was wrong and yet still not want to involve the U.S. in a regional conflict that we helped to create.

Read again. His quoted comment mentions are suggest nothing about a country invading another country.
