If the meeting itself was a crime why hasn't anyone been charged for it?
Furthermore, why has nobody been charged for a crime for it when mueller has already charged others with other crimes that were committed AFTER that meeting?

Why did Trump and his people lie about the meeting initially if there was nothing wrong with taking the meeting?

Because the meeting was a bad look politically.

Why did clinton campaign lie initially about whether or not they were paying fusion gps?

Then why aren't you calling for the members of fusion to be arrested for collusion?

Because as most adults are aware, "collusion" in and of itself is just a word and is not a crime. Conspiring with another country to swing an election in exchange for lifting sanctions is illegal. It's not as bad as fibbing about getting a BJ. But it's still illegal.

and now it's your turn to cite the statute or precedent that says a "thing of value" has to only be monetary or mineral.
Reading comprehension is not your strong point. That entire section is about accepting financial assistance from a foreign government. It even refers to accepting "expenditures," meaning letting a foreign goverment pay for the expenses of a campaign, is not allowed.

If you want to believe that "thing of value" means words exchanged in a meeting because that's what you're told by MSNBC then that's your own fault.

The New York Times senior White House correspondent Maggie Haberman and reporter Kenneth Vogel are slamming Hillary Clinton's campaign and the Democratic National Committee (DNC), saying they lied about funding for the so-called Trump dossier.

"When I tried to report this story, Clinton campaign lawyer @marceelias pushed back vigorously, saying 'You (or your sources) are wrong,' " Vogel tweeted, referring to Clinton campaign lawyer Marc Elias.

"Folks involved in funding this lied about it, and with sanctimony, for a year," Haberman tweeted to her more than 650,000 followers on Tuesday.

"When I tried to report this story, Clinton campaign lawyer @marceelias pushed back vigorously, saying 'You (or your sources) are wrong,' " Vogel tweeted, referring to Clinton campaign lawyer Marc Elias.

The Washington Post in a bombshell report late Tuesday said that Elias's legal firm hired Fusion GPS, a private research firm based in Washington, D.C., to provide opposition research on candidate Donald Trump.

Fusion GPS hired former British MI6 intelligence officer Christopher Steele to lead research, eventually resulting in a 35-page document that included claims against the Trump campaign and its alleged ties to Russia along with scandalous accusations about the candidate himself.

The dossier was shopped around to numerous media outlets for months before being published by BuzzFeed last January.

"Folks involved in funding this lied about it, and with sanctimony, for a year," Haberman tweeted to her more than 650,000 followers on Tuesday.

The DNC in a statement late Tuesday attempted to distance its current leadership, including DNC Chairman Tom Perez, from the dossier funding.

“Tom Perez and the new leadership of the DNC were not involved in any decision-making regarding Fusion GPS, nor were they aware that Perkins Coie was working with the organization," said DNC spokeswoman Xochitl Hinojosa.

I've been pretty clear- they're guilty of knowingly conspiring with a foreign government to receive aid to win a federal election. This is a crime under US law - the statute has even been cited. Can't get much more specific than that, little buddy.

I've been pretty clear- the DNC and Hilldawg are guilty of knowingly conspiring with a foreign agent (Steele) who in turn was receiving unsubstantiated information from Russian intelligence, in order to draft a BS dossier, in an attempt to win a federal election. This is a crime under US law - the statute has even been cited. Can't get much more specific than that, little buddy.

The "other thing of value" refers to gold, silver, gems, property, etc. which can be converted into money.

Actually, I did a little research for you. Under FECA-BRCA regulations at least, a "thing of value" has no specific definition, and can be interpreted using it's common meaning. My guess would be that soliciting damaging information (thing of value) from a foreign national during an election year, pertaining to 'dirt' on a candidate's opponent (whether delivered or not) is at the very least a federal election violation.

Kindly eat shite LSURussian LINK

Anything of Value. The term anything of value is not defined in the FECA-BRCA or the regulations. It should be construed according to its common meaning and consistent with the purpose of the FECA-BRCA.

Please cite the statute refuting the evidence I've provided. That's how a real discussion works. I'm willing to change my mind if you can.

Edit: or by all means, please continue with irrelevant sidebars and getting your shite pushed in by referenced statutes and facts.

Edit 2: despite all the bickering on this subject, I really like your sig quote and it's something I've been trying to do for a while.

It all goes in cycles I'll admit. Just because something new seems to come out each week on a different aspect of Mueller's investigation. I think the only reason the Jr. meeting is hot right now is because Trump tweeted about it.
