These "concerns" about Trump's stability would hold more credence if they weren't a Dem talking point going back to September 2016.

Not concerned with Trump as we now have a year and a half plus of his policy and rhetoric and not only has this country not been destroyed and rights not been trampled but it can be argued that we are much better off now than we were when he took office.

I’m more concerned with the admission of sedition within the administration and want the perpetrators to receive justice.

If it I was written by someone within the admin, it was probably someone like Amarosa with an ax to grind. I believe it was a fabrication, sounds too much like the BS Joe and Mika have been spewing for awhile, maybe they wrote it. I am amazed at President Trump, under constant attack but still doing a great job MAGA

What? You don't believe that there is a high end administration official who thinks Trump could push the button any day now, but don't worry we'll tackle him if he tries it? Sounds totes plausible to me.

Nope, not at all. Almost everyone who cares is doing better.

I learned during the Obama years that even an unaccomplished, inexperienced, mediocre intellect could be president without completely destroying the country. Throw in 20 more IQ points and some narcissism that makes one crave to be viewed as the man who revived American exceptionalism and we've got the best president in decades.

Yes, probably shadows him all day, protecting America from its retarded, juvenile, immoral, deranged leader, who somehow managed to get tax reform passed and removed the stranglehold on our economy just for starters.

You asked for an answer so I will give you one.

Answer is, "NO!"

Why would this person's opinion on some of the President's platform be given higher regard than the President's? It's unsubstantiated and ANONYMOUS!!!! It was printed as an OP-ED. It is strictly an OPINION. How the frick am I supposed to value this "information" to any great degree at all?

You suffer from confirmation bias.

In a word, no.

We have known for some time that many Republicans are not thrilled with the idea of "president Trump", so an op-ed in the NYT that essentially proves, or at least gives credibility to, the idea of a "deep state" (ie, high ranking people in power with an agenda to protect the status quo); that also unequivocally proves sedition, will absolutely not sway me to start thinking that Trump is dangerous

Baking in your premise that the op-ed MUST be factually correct/accurate is where you're fricking up.

If your premise is incorrect, then all results that follow will be just as wrong.

LOL. So so typical.

Only, of course, after someone accepts your view of the situation.

Dear Politards, this is how to "debate" like a Proggie.

At least your predetermined bullshite didn't involve calling Trump supporters Nazis, racist, etc, or is that something too you automatically assume?

I don’t believe the opinion piece is real because the NYT told me that the deep state didn’t exist.

Wrong to accept this as fact. Numerous articles quoting "anonymous" sources in the NY Times related to Trump have been proven wrong. They have issued a number of retractions. Not sure why you would accept the NY Times at its word. Says a lot about you.

quote:

Basically, this includes anyone with direct access to the president or who is a peer with multiple officials with direct access.

Wrong again. This could be someone in the Treasury or State Department that has virtually no interaction at all with the president and who rarely, if ever, has gone to the White House or even been in the same building... much less the same room... with Trump.

The bottom line is that anyone that watches CNN or MSNBC could have written this "op ed" piece. It was written in an exact way to appeal to the left leaning media. 20 Insiders that support Trump 100% could write op ed pieces and put their names to it and the NY Times would not print it.

Now... frick off.
