Plenty of gays have come to the conservative side because the Democrat party is leaving them. Trust me, you'll find more tolerance on the conservative side than you ever will from regressives.
Word to the wise: like black conservatives, and women conservatives, GAY conservatives bring out a special brand of vitriol from the left that they only reserve for "traitors." Steel yourself if you choose to come out as a conservative to other gays -- the backlash will be intense and ruthless. But on the upside, you'll have so much of an easier time than anyone else triggering them with facts, rather than buying into their fantasy.

I was a foolish leftist several decades ago. My red pill was reading several dozen histories on communism and its leaders from all perspectives. It wasn't sudden conversion.

All of my liberal friends are quiet at the moment. They were gungho on social media from Covid, BLM, election, "insurrection " but now for at least a a few months I haven't heard a peep from them politically
