Link to study info from Jdoc's earlier thread. These studies show significant benefit to HCQ if given at proper dosage and EARLY (instead of shoving a tablet in a dead man's mouth and saying it was ineffective).

I understand that, my post was a direct response to an assertion that vaccines were moving the needle in India. At 3.3% of the population fully vaccinated, vaccines have not moved the needle enough to bring Indian cases down by 70% in the span of 4 weeks. Immunity due to prior infection is likely the primary reason.

Eh, its not a cure. It appears to have some benefit in mild to moderate covid.
But we used it here extensively in march/april 2020 and once hospitalized showed little benefit
The crime with hydroxychloroquine and proof that it was all about OMB was that the left called it a “dangerous and deadly drug”

“At least 43% of the 60-plus population in India has been covered with at least one dose and 37% of the population aged above 45 years covered with the first dose of the vaccines against Covid-19.“
