Another misinterpretation by you.
Your title says "PC police." The text of the chart you posted says "political statements" and "statements about political issues."
Those are NOT the same. Not even close. So your thread's title is contradicted by your linked chart.
That's pretty dumb. Actually, it's VERY dumb.

Just because they feel the same way that doesn't mean Katy Perry's opinion on the issue is the reason they agree
Heres a hypothetical: Lets say a 15 yr old girl that that knows nothing about trump or politics but idolizes Katy Perry sees this. Do you think she would think "maybe I should go look into donald trump." Possibly, but probably not. In all likelihood, she retweets it, spreading it to her friends and starts to believe it because her idol thinks it. When she becomes eligible to vote, don't you think she would already be turned against him? Obviously this can't quantified, but it doesn't take a genius to see how influential celebrities can be, especially in the age of social media.

It's not funny, it's kind of pathetic
They don't exactly live in reality.

Yes, you did.
Your title refers to PC police yet the chart you posted has nothing to do with anyone being PC or wanting to force being PC on someone else.
You're embarrassing yourself.
Again.

You see how ballscaster is a really shitty poster that isn't here for honest discussion.
He claims to be a conservative but keeps posting like a soft liberal
I helped him out in gay marriage hoopla of 2014 and 15 and thought he was alright but he's turned that opinion around with opinions that are not consistent with what responsible conservatives believe.
For instance, he shits all over private property rights when gays are concerned, thinks churches should be taxed and thinks Islam is completely compatible with western society.

it is inappropriate for athletes and entertainers who gain popularity through sports or entertainment to use their fan base as a captive audience for poorly developed political opinions.
Please describe how my opinion about appropriateness constitutes political correctness.
politically correct
: conforming to a belief that language and practices which could offend political sensibilities (as in matters of sex or race) should be eliminated
My argument is that it can be an abuse of loyalty to draw someone to a musical performance and then lecture them on politics. If someone drew me to a concert and lectured me about dinosaurs, that would also be an abuse of loyalty, because I'm not supporting your career to hear about dinosaurs.
This is the rational basis for my belief regarding appropriateness. Now, if we're being truthful, my emotional response is going to be "this fricking guy has no idea what he's talking about," but that's a response to the view itself, not the fact that the artist has stated the view.
I'm sure I'll get some troll response, but I'm playing along.

Don't think you Understand PC very well, though you pretend to support it.

Ok, as expected. I give you a couple paragraphs, and you intellectually cop out.

Don't feel bad. He ignores me all together! He knows who can see through his schtick. He chooses not to engage. Or will post one word responses like "melt" or "troll". Pretty easy to figure him out.
A good example from this thread is "a misinterpretation by you". It's his way of trying to remain "on top" or intellectually superior. It's Just word games. Just like TXTIger and his inability to face legitimate scrutiny. Ballcaster will resort to similar tactics when faced with a poster that sees though him and calls it out.

I'm so tired of arguing with conservatives that I really wanted there to be a legit liberal capable of discussion, I guess. Other than Iosh I mean
