Republicans agree to end their PC police campaign the second liberals end theirs and end their constant race baiting.

There were multiple threads on this very board and all over reddit lobbying to get people to chant TRUMP during the entire performance because they thought she would make some sort of political statement.

This is an interesting statement that seems to have some strange connotations. You seem to be implying that she should have had the right to make a political statement during her show, but people in the crowd should not have had that same right.

Did you hear chants of Trump during the halftime show? I did not.

Not at all. Conservatives should engage in the exact same behavior until liberals agree to stop their reign of terror.

You probably should learn the big difference between being "politically correct" and just being "political."

I do.
Obviously not since your thread's title incorrectly says "PC police" compared to the text of your OP.

What makes you think there are so many people doing this?

Things like this:

Those retweets and favorites show that thousands of people agree with the opinion. While people may not 100% vote for someone because their favorite celebrity said so, you can read between the lines to know that it has some type of influence on their decision. This is a baseless accusation and you'd be lying to say that some fans of hers haven't run with this type of garbage.

what? how is this possibly responsive to anything I've said?

The entire post I was responding to was just about how it might negatively impact a celebrity's career. How is my post NOT responsive

Your need to constantly feel superior to other posters here is interesting to watch. TxTiger has the same issue. I thought it was just narcissism and delusions of grandeur. I am beginning to worry about you, though. Clearly, there is something more going on.

ETA: my apologies TXTiger82. I fixed it.

Just because they feel the same way that doesn't mean Katy Perry's opinion on the issue is the reason they agree

You can't name one liberal stance I have.

Calling me a liberal is what dumb people do when they can't go toe to toe with me and aren't secure in their own values. Rather than meet an intellectual or political challenge, Many take the easy way out and dismiss me by calling me a liberal.

You're one of them. You've failed at this before. But go ahead and name a liberal/leftist stance I hold.

are you trolling me too?

My entire post was about why I might make the decision that I didn't want to continue supporting an artist who is using my support as a vehicle for telling me about their political beliefs.

My approach is essentially that an artist can make up their own mind about how to handle this stuff, and of course, they'll deal with any negative consequences that arise. In other words, if they like ranting about politics more than they like money, then they should rant about politics. If ranting about politics doesn't cost them anything and there is no incentive not to do it at their shows/whatever, then people like me can opt out if we disagree with them doing it.
