My skepticism of DT is based on a) he's not a conservative, b) he's too soft, and c) he doesn't get enough accomplished (talking government, not his private business).

On he's too soft - I know he's supposed to be the proverbial bull in the china closet/street brawler, but beyond his rhetoric he is soft. People he surrounds himself with too often ignore him, or even work against him, and far too much is left undone. And when shite is hitting the fan, he's lobbying for more spending than Nancy f'n Pelosi is proposing.

Correct. He is all bark...very little bite.

Let me get this straight. You won’t vote for DeSantis because he hasn’t come out and public said the right words to be “against” some amorphous, undefinable boogeyman?

Can we agree that Desantis believes the GOPe is some amorphus, undefinable boogeyman? Can we also agree that Desantis supporters like yourself believe that?

If so, I think we are done here.

Then why are you voting for the guy who quite literally has the GOPe running his campaign?

ETA: btw I fully expect you to continue ignoring these questions.

I'm just going to keep reposting this question.

No, because I assume DeSantis, as with all other sane rational people, don’t even consider a concept as nebulous and stupid as “GOPe” in their daily lives or decisions.

I don’t give a frick about useless buzzwords. I don’t give a frick who endorses or supports a candidate, and who other people endorse or support will never have any impact on my choice of candidate.

The last GOPe preferred presidential candidates since 2000:

* John McCain
* Mitt Romney
* Jeb Bush

interesting you post this considering Trump is letting people from this group run his campaign.

What if terms like “GOPe” are inherently meaningless buzzwords that carry no importance outside of Internet banter?

This dude is the smartest among you. I think he's got it right.

We (Trump supporters) simply disagree with you (Desantis supporters) on this topic.

Do other Desantis supporters agree with Indefeatigable?

You're right. He's GOPe. I can't vote for him anymore. I'm just going by your rules.

You aren't voting for Trump dude. We know. You aren't really pretending otherwise are you?

You've got the TDS.

Do you think the GOPE is definable and has a given shape? You could save us a lot of trouble by defining it very specifically using deductive principles.

Oh, I am rational and contribute where it is warranted.
These threads where silly warring factions of Desantis Dickheads and Trumpsters go at each other deserve all the ridicule I can muster.
Now, run along and play with the other bois, salty.

You’re assuming facts not in evidence. I’d prefer DeSantis to Trump on the grounds of electability if the primary were decided today by my personal fiat, but I’m certainly not never Trump.

I’ve voted for him twice and I’ll do it again in the very likely event that he’s the nominee.

I like Trump. The photos, his interactions with his supporters, how he handles the press, etc., I like. I also think he's a good guy and loves the country.

That's nice.

What do you think of the Cinco De Mayo "taco bowl" photo?

A staged negative photo? Or a candid, awesome photo?

They can't process this. It absolutely melts their brain. In their minds....there's Only Trumpers and Never Trumpers with no one else because they're mentally broken.

Great. I think we are getting somewhere.

Why do you keep ignoring me? I mean.....you're not even denying the assertion in my question....which is incredibly telling.
