The problem with libertarians is that they don't live in reality. They don't examine each situation. They have a solution that is applied to every problem.
The problem when you tell the world that you will never respond is that you invite attacks. When criminals look to mug someone, they watch body language. They know who is unlikely to fight back and choose the easy victims. Libertarians are the easy victims.

You a fan of the Patriot Act? Do you like the size and scope of the federal government right now? The reason the federal government is completely out of fricking control and involved in damn near everything we do is because of the kinds of "compromises" that you think it takes to live in "reality". Reality is that our purchasing powers and liberties have been stomped into the fricking ground because so many Republicans REJECT libertarians.

You respond when you are threatened. What libertarian is against that? Libertarians more than any other group support the natural right to defend yourself and your property by any means necessary.
