The indictment is irrelevant to what I’m referring to. When the allegations were leaked, the reactions to each are what I’m talking about.

Many of the same people in this thread advocating for Moore or being extremely skeptical are the same who didn’t skip a beat when Weinstein or Spacey were accused. That’s confirmation bias

Wow, sounds like the DUI story that came out about W right before the election. Or so many other bs stories that were nothing but character assassination by the regressives. It's a sign of desperation, they've got nothing else. Turds!

No, confirmation bias. The people I’m referring to ignore information which doesn’t fit their previously held beliefs.

says he asked for her phone number. In 1979, that would be the number to the home phone.

Thank you captain obvious. We didn't know what to think before you cleared that up.

In 79, she wouldn't have her own phone in her room! And the house phone would be pretty much heard/seen by all in the home.
And I'm to believe he called and set up a netting for her to sneak out without anyone knowing?

So, if you are honest, which I don't think you can be. Had you heard anything about Weinstein before the actual allegations dropped? How about Hollywood in general? Who did a person have to sleep with to get to the top? It sure didn't take anyone in Hollywood by surprise. Kevin Spacey either. Even the left bastion Rosy O'Donnell even brought up the hypocrisy of Spacey of now claiming he was gay.

Now, how long have you known about the Moore allegations?

Is it surprising that in a small town in Alabama in 1979 that a 30 yr old man would ask a 14 yr old girl out on a "date"?

I know more about Roy than I know about Kevin Spacey or Harvey Weinstein. Even so, that’s irrelevant. This is politicized and it’s sad.

Why would you assume that a recently single mother would be home to answer the phone?

Why wouldn't she be...or, at the very least, it being probable that she was? Rural town..40 years ago. How many hours a day would you guess that a rural mother would not be home?

You know I think this is how I will always remember BHO and his 8 years in office. Sums it up well for me.

How different was your reaction an hour or so after you heard about Weeiersteen compared to Moore?

Your question was both stupid and irrelevant.

The only real surprise would be if the two weren't blood relatives.

My reaction is the same. The victims should be taken seriously and an investigation needs to occur.
