He has said those exact words several times over the last few weeks. He is questioning what he could have done differently over the last 30 years to help the nation avoid where e are today, he sees it as a personal failure, and he has no time left to correct the situation.

Rush has been a big advocate for Trump and they are friends, but let’s not pretend that for 30 years, Rush hasn’t also promoted his establishment buddies in Washington. And the establishment is the problem.

So, if conservatives don't win, then frick democracy?

You can’t lay their cowardice at rush’s feet, yeah you’re right he promoted them, but what’s the alternative? Rush isn’t the only one that has been betrayed by folks they’ve supported. That’s pretty much half of American

He did way more than simply promoting them. He golfed with them, ate with them, hobnobbed with them. Let’s not pretend Rush wasn’t a Country Club type.

Rush made a living off claiming victimhood. He's always been a defeatist, along with his followers. You don't spend your life being angry when you're winning.
I'm thinking you are a very successful self made man based on your response. Are you a motivational speaker?

Good grief...the very essence of Constitutional Principle is to NULLIFY Democracy, on the grounds that Rights come from GOD and not a majority vote! At least people ought to know that they are going to be fighting and dying for.
Though to clarify, IF things go to the street, sides will quickly be determined by haves and being attacked by have nots. People defending their families. Katrina set the model; times a thousand.

Stolen elections aren't 'democracy'.
This is a banana republic now, and everyone knows it. ( I'll keep saying this because it's true )
Dems called W 'selected', not elected.
Obama declared he wanted to fundamentally change the country.
Hillary and her million pussyhat cult vowed to 'Resist!'... Frick your faux praise of democracy.

We kinda lost an important election 2 months ago

I think losing both senate seats in Georgia took the wind out of the sails for many. It just reinforced the power that Organizers have in being able to deliver that state. So there is a monolithic African American voting block and now democrats have peeled off any immigrant populations and a good chunk of the young, white suburban and young adult vote. It is a hard hill to climb. And we had hope after the GOP clawed back so many seats in the house. But now the dems are in the drivers seat to throw all kinds of shite at us for at least the next two years. it doesn't seem the American public has common sense anymore. It's all jacked up emotion.
