Dimwit, the background of the ones that were shot had nothing to do with the case unless Rittenhouse knew about their backgrounds before he shot, which he didn't.
Those that are giving the prosecutors grief about prosecuting, should look at the statements given by Rittenhouse and McGinnis to the police and in interviews after the incident.
The testimony both of them gave at trial differed substantially from their previous statements -- after they rehearsed their testimony with the defense lawyers.

You absolutely cannot be more wrong… typical of you and your continued attempts. Rittenhouse testimony did not differ. You clearly do not know how trials work.

To me, the scariest part is the fact that he was charged and had to stand trial at all.

Well, why would a prior statement made not be presented to Kyle and asked why he made it?
