Actually, there are several acts that congress passed giving the President that authority and Trump is going to test every one of them and they will have to rule against every one of them.

Congress is doing exactly what "The People" want. They demand more spending. They keep electing the same people. Giving unchecked power to the executive branch isn't the solution here. Hell, they even elected a populist. And MAGA is attacking anyone that isn't going along with the swamp these days.

This is the correct answer.

We are getting the government we deserve and collectively voted for.

The system is working just like it's supposed to.

Not as rough as our bloated military who will no longer have local property taxes to support them, right?

I mean the whole thing is being run as if it were a reality tv show so it makes sense that people who didn't use to take part in the process would now view it through that lens

When Dems do they seem to get Acts pass that defy reality and the laws of physics

Fortunately, we'll still have veto power if democrats win congress, but it also means they'll impeach Trump 50 times before he's out of office.

*My* House Rep and Senator are the good guys. It's all the *other* House Reps and Senators that are the problem.

It's absolutely embarrassing what I've watched the Republican party be reduced to. They are done. For a long time.

You're just as stupid as the populists on the other side posting stuff like, "The Democratic party will never win another major election."

I'd love to see him go all out (like Obama) in moving Legislation.
If he was governing like Candidate Trump, I would too. Unfortunately, we got the RINO wet dream of BBB instead. And he threw the thin majority in the House overboard to do it.

You are correct but those are narrowly focused for specific situations not a free for all. Like I said, I'm not opposed to tariffs, we actually need more but EOs isn't the fix.

No forgiveness needed. It's the only sensible conclusion. Why we dont' vote them all out? Dammifino.

Yeah, that's a deeper issue, and a lot of it has to do with people only observing politics on a surface level of what the media feeds them. Too lazy to do any research so they just pull the lever for the familiar names.
