What do you have against Trump so much? If you're a Republican he's still a better option than Biden by a mile.

How many more losses will it take before you move on to someone else?

How many more elections before Trump is laid out in state?

If he's breathing he'll have Cult45's vote.

I've said for a long time the loudest, most annoying, Trump supporters never voted before he came on the scene. Didn't vote GOP anyway but rather some far out third party if they every darkened a booth.

Sounds like moneyg agrees.

It's certainly been interesting watching some of the same crowd simultaneously bitch about people who voted for Obama, McCain/Romney, or third party.

The knots they twist themselves into always expose them in the end.

Part of the reason I call them stupid/ignorant/mouth breathers/dems/etc.

Get them pissed off and they expose themselves.

Like the stupid ignorant mouth breathers they are.

Nope.

We are going to save our Second Amendment.

That is why I have called for red flag laws, also known as extreme risk protection orders.

Although the Obama administration repeatedly concluded that particular bump stock type devices were lawful to purchase and possess, I sought further clarification of the law restricting fully automatic machine guns.

Bump stocks, we are writing that out. I am writing that out. I don’t care if Congress does it or not, I’m writing it out myself.

Obama Administration legalized bump stocks. BAD IDEA. As I promised, today the Department of Justice will issue the rule banning BUMP STOCKS with a mandated comment period. We will BAN all devices that turn legal weapons into illegal machine guns.

What are we going to do about assault rifles?

Well, it’s the military weapons.

It doesn't make sense that I have to wait till I'm 21 to get a handgun but I can get this [AR-15].

So we’ll take a look at [a new assault weapon ban].

And that was after campaigning as the strongest advocate for the 2nd amendment in 2016.

He changes positions in the blink of an eye. Doesn't stand for anything except himself.

Dude, 10-20% of Trump voters are not yours. They hate the GOP. You see Trumps 75M, which was unprecedented and assumed it was yours if you won the primary.

That’s a fatal mistake.

I've seen you make this argument about 5 times and it isn't getting less retarded.

There was never a future path after 8 more years of democratic rule. All will be lost by then. This was the correct time. He has run a poor campaign. Trump has destroyed him among Trumps base. The writing is now on the wall. You win the nomination, and the nation, your kids, and your grand children lose their future. Congrats.

To anyone telling you all his campaign was awful his hires worse than Trump

So what?

Are we voting on who runs the best campaign and holds the best rallies, or are we voting on who would be the best POTUS?

He has done everything wrong

Except run Florida as a conservative and turn a recently purple state ruby red.

quote:

He cant win a general or the primary. Its thats simple

He'd win the general. To be clear, I think Trump will too if he stops stepping on his own dick - but DeSantis would win the general.

Its seems the 3 stooges and the Kasich lover are the only ones still holding on to what could have been

I still don't understand this line of thinking. Maybe it's explained by bandwagon-ing? Everybody is supposed to hop onboard before the first primary because it's the popular thing to do.

Whoever runs the best campaign usually wins. Its bizarre you give Ron a pass on everything

quote:

He'd win the general

What indicators make you think he wins a General? Dont use polls

Except I don't. I am disappointed he's been unable to get any traction. That's a failure on his part. But that doesn't change what he's done as governor of Florida or any of the other reasons I believe he'd be a better POTUS than Trump.

If I was voting on who to run a campaign, I'd be all in with Trump. But we're supposed to be voting for who we thing would be a better POTUS.

quote:

The indicator that Biden/Dems have put in OT to frick this country up. I've said all along that '24 is for the Republican nominee to lose. Whether Trump or DeSantis, they'd have to piss it down their leg to lose.

quote:

I know you dont maybe you are one of the stooges

Because I don't understand the desire to change my views/preferences and jump on some bandwagon, that makes me the stooge?

I'm not sure an inability or unwillingness to think for oneself is the virtue you apparently do.

Probably half the core Trump voters also voted for Clinton (Bill). Many of the white working class/ union voters weren't on board with Obama's more racially sensitive Democrats.

That's why all the Bellwhethers got all fricked up in 2016 16/35 fell) and 2020 (18/19 fell), because a chunk of the democratic party joined the tea party to form MAGA, and a chunk of the Republican party (fiscal conservatives and neocons) as well as practically every independent said frickit, this guy is antithesis of my goals.

The evangelicals and pseudo libertarians will stick it out, neocons will likely permanently shift if Democrats keep it up, and the fiscal conservatives as usual will get fricked and vote for the least crazy financially.

Meanwhile white voters as a percentage has dropped from 51% of the electorate in 2004 to 39.8% in 2020, so appealing to the white working class only is a guaranteed L.
