AOC scolding crying Chuck is hilarious. Crying Chuck might be a swamp creature but he is smarter than that bimbo and realizes the Dims will take an arse whooping if they close the government. I for one would love the see the dims fall on their sword.

Of course, and as expected. It's still a wasteful bill that will fund garbage that DOGE is trying to cut, so the Dems were always going to go along with it after making a scene for the cameras.

Democrats are taking issue with the GOP’s move to fund the government through the end of the fiscal year with a continuing resolution, arguing that the package does not provide the specific funding directives for many programs and priorities that would be laid out in a negotiated full-year spending bill.
“This creates slush funds for the Trump administration to reshape spending priorities, eliminate longstanding programs, pick winners and losers, and more,” according to a fact sheet released by Washington Sen. Patty Murray, the ranking Democrat on the Senate Appropriations Committee.
The lack of these directives would make it harder to challenge the Trump administration’s actions in court, Murray and Rep. Rosa DeLauro, ranking member on the House Appropriations Committee, said in separate fact sheets.

They might not be making big cuts,
But seems like Trump admin is going to push money where they want vs where the dems want it.

The appropriation bill provides $ to the departments. That being said, can’t the individual depts decide what to do with it? Also what if the $ is not spent?
Basically if Federal Dept A is appropriated $100B and they actually only spend $10B then what happens to the $90B remaining?

Or not spend it at all?
