I like both Lousiana and Alabama. Both have their problems. Alabama let a democrat get elected to congress and Lousiana let a democrat get into the governor's office. Alabama is about to fix its mistake. You're up Lousiana.

Post a pic of your “much younger bride”, who I can guarantee is A. ugly and B. is getting railed by much younger guys on the side while your dumb arse pays her to be your wife. What a gross, pathetic, depressing life you have

The amount of dick measuring in this thread would make Dirk Diggler blush. Can we all agree that Oklahoma sucks? There, some common ground.
This thread needs an appearance from scrooster.....that dude could drop some "Hey! You wish you were me!" Crapola. The Cockaboose, the women who are all 9-10s, the watches and jewelry, the gated country home with the apocalypse security and armaments.....

Maybe. But to me it's the trash on the side of the road. And the trash you encounter selling crap in between. Including what must be the nastiest restaurants. But it ain't my concern. On the contrary Alabama is a poor state, almost as poor as LA. But it is populated by working people who are content (or they must be otherwise they would leave). Which they don't. La and the state I live in lead the south along with Mississippi in net move outs. South Carolina and Alabama and Florida lead in net move in's. Granted SC and Alabama because of the explosion of jobs and pleasant, inexpensive places to live. While people in the other three are choosing with their feet.
One thing about Louisiana is people I know from there laugh like hell at everything I mentioned. And more. That simply accept, enjoy and don't GAS. Given a choice they likely would choose to live there since it is "their trash" and they learned to like it that way years ago. An old partner from Ca is wealthy and given the choice he would move back there in a heartbeat. But he has a Ca wife who he took visiting to try and convince her. Bad move. She refuses to even visit now. This is a guy who raised and personally drove a relief truck loaded with Katrina goods for the residents. Was on TV in Ca. after he convinced 6 others to match his good works. A 7 truck caravan. That's loving the swamp and the people. And I admire that.

A drive from Gulf Shores to Huntsville is inspiration in it's beauty. A recent drive I made from New Orleans to Baton Rouge is one of the most discouraging and depressing I have ever made.
quit smoking that stuff - I have made that drive myself and I am not sure what route you took but that route is nothing but abject proverty and blight at its finest -

Yeah.... it’s funny how so many folks from TX, LA, MS and other states flock to AL to enjoy the beaches. If you are in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Ft Morgan, Dauphin Island area you will see those car tags all over the place.
