But those living INSIDE the city limits are about FIVE times higher in Shreveport compared to Bossier City. The murder rate is inside Shreveport which is a HUGE geographic area due to tax annexations.

No. Caddo Parish is not 5 times higher than Bossier Parish.
It's twice as high. That difference between 5:1 (murder rate) and 2:1 (population) is white flight.

In the article you linked I was impressed the the murder rate for Shreveport has dropped from 80 to 29 over the past few years.

Cedric Glover is the only candidate I've given money to. He is a liberal black democrat. But he is pro Police. Goes back to his days with the Kings Men trying to stop crime in Shreveport's black neighborhoods.
