Let’s also understand something else, the people presented with the medals were standing about 100 feet away from the president. You don’t salute from that distance. Also, when they salute the recipients, they’re the ones literally placing the fricking medal on their necks. Not other people.
You’re incorrect on this on all points. It’s indoors, you don’t salute from that distance, and he wasn’t the one putting the medal on their necks.
