The Tim Burchetts in government are few and far between.
Tim is one of my favorite reps to tell me what’s going on, unfortunately Tim also falls in with your description as well doing nothing after letting us know. Kind of like an oh well. Congress still gets their way.

Exactly. In the thread about this, I've been asking them to explain why the video is racist.
It portrays the only (ex) black President of the U.S. and his wife, both enemies of Trump, as monkeys. How could anyone not know TDSers and leftists would pounce on it as "racist?"

Joe Biden too!

That's a fair point. I do realize those racists see race in everything.

it was an unforced error, and anyone with any sense knows the faux-outrage crowd are going to clamp onto it like a starving Ethiopian on the last donut, but to give the hooplah any gravitas by joining in on it is every bit as much of an error.
Agreed.

My son in law had a job straight out of the gate, interned the same place while finishing his degree. This was last year.
They also just bought a house a couple of months ago,
And my daughter is a SAHM.
Most of their cohort has done similar.
It isn't impossible.

He's handcuffed with good intentions. I know why he votes how he does, and it's to at least get some of the good things passed along with the bad. He doesn't want to just be the "contrarian" type like a Massie or Paul that always seems to throw a fit and falter at just the right moment when they can make a real difference.
And at least Tim actually puts forth stand-alone legislation on a regular basis. But he can't win when his own party refuses to take it up. They just roll it into bigger things and he has to vote for it ther3, along with all the Establishment Uniparty pork.
I don't like it and he doesn't either, but it's not his fault. The system and his own fellow reps keep him shackled. He isn't perfect by any means, but if he was the only Congressmen for just a single day and got to pass legislation unilaterally, the entire country would immediately look better.
