That is the best part of Free market society.
They have every right to practice their views within their business, and if there is an uproar from upset customers, that will likely cause a drop in revenue. If that happens they likely see a competitor scoop in and increase his customer acquisition.
bottom line is the consumer's voices will be heard one way or the other. Gotta love Free markets.

Never understand any business owner that would turn away money ,but hey he is free to run his business the way he wants too. It is a stupid strategy, but live and let live.

depending on the business, I could see ways it would not affect one way or another.... as has been used as the example of the gun shops not welcoming Obama voters.....
or better yet, the much more permanent marker, traveling around east texas there was a convenience store somewhere just north of Beaumont/vidor area that had an exterior wall (15'x25' easy) painted with the stars and bars. it worked for them. 99% of the locals at the time would not have any issue fitting in walking into that store.
