I had never feared a candidate in all my years of the crazy that is the Texas GOP. It’s just politics, but Trump was insane. I still never thought of destroying anything. When he won, liberals were inundated with news and stories about their out-of-touchliberal bubble. I fully understood bc I had been shouting that for years. I’ve never been privy to that bubble. There ain’t a liberal bubble in Lubbock or Baton Rouge. Hillary Clinton was a historically unpopular candidate. When people did what they always do - choose the lesser of two evils, she lost. Bc Benghazi. Bc Iraq. Bc woman. Bc Clinton. She did nothing to be more relatable either.
Now it’s your turn. Stop saying you were robbed. You lost. You got cocky. The population is changing - it’s younger. It’s not as white. For people my age, we’re in the second recession of our life, so sorry not sorry, we’re not too jazzed about boomer economic policies. Y’all thought the old “socialist, radical, soft on crime” shite could work and it doesn’t. While y’all were out here believing some nut on 4chan over news (yes, MSM - better than 4chan), reality, or facts. Y’all had truck caravans with “frick YOUR FEELINGS” flags. You had boat parades. You accused everybody of pedophilia. You didn’t do the work though. I’m a working mom. I was getting teargassed and shot with rubber bullets while registering voters and handing out masks at protests this summer - none of which involved beating police or destroying property. I wrote thousands of postcards to voters in swing states. I donated time and money, made tens of thousands of phone calls. I was a delegate. We did the work. We did the work and we won. Trump got 74.2 million votes (not 75). More than any Republican ever just like Hillary got more than any Democrat ever in 2016. There were days when I was tired and I didn’t want to put in the work, but I looked at my kid and knew that if I hadn’t done everything, I would never forgive myself. I would never forgive myself if I didn’t do EVERYTHING to prevent four more years of Trump. If you wanna hate a liberal, hate my arse. My name is Ashley - you can hate me all day everyday. IDGAF, do you. I ain’t a socialist, I ain’t a fkn commie, I don’t hate America or freedom, I don’t hate cops, I don’t want your fkn gun. Idk, but 31% of 18-29 yr olds voted in 2016 compared to 55% in 2020. did y’all miss the spontaneous celebrations in every city in America when the election was called for Biden? Be rational. Most of her arguments are all about feelings.
Her main problem is she can’t think for herself. She looks into the TV and hears Joe saying “People if we just wear these masks we will save hundreds of thousands of lives!” And she eats it up without question.
