I wish the series made about him would have been more factual and less "Hollywood". His real story was a truly fascinating and bizarre spelunking into dark psychology.

Sounds like someone is desperate for work.

oh come on. disagree with his statement but you really think the guy who played buffalo bill was unaware of this?

These cucks who apologize for material from the 80's and 90's drive me crazy.
You don't see Eddie Murphy apologizing for Raw or Delerious.
This actor didn't even write the part, he's an NPC for the director. Unless the director said the tranny stuff was all the actor's idea, what in the actual frick does he have to apologize for?

Man you are so right. Seems like so many of them are wrapped super tight. Mental health counseling should be mandatory.

Virtue-signaling is everything to these Hollywood dullards. Just the other day, Tom Hanks said that he would not have taken the role in the movie "Philadelphia" because the character was gay, and hHanks isnt gay.
I wish somebody had asked Tommy Boy if he also thinks gay people shouldn't play straight characters. I bet his response to that would've been AOC-esque.

He’s been largely irrelevant for the past 10 years. I’d say that his last “big” role was in Shutter Island.
But then again, Levine strikes me as the kind of guy who isn’t a sellout and wants to actually act in movies and shows that have good quality dialogue. He’s always been very selective with his roles.

Great point. Gein also being the inspiration for Leatherface in the horror movie Teas Chainsaw Massecre.
Levine is OK with the serial killer part.... just not the crossdressing... Like you pointed out. He's an idiot.

Hey, I really liked him in Monk.

What's the big deal? They softened Ted's character up a bit by making him/they a dog lover.
