The reason that I left Trump was because I didn't think he went far enough on some issues. Trump needs to keep his word and go scorched Earth. Draining the swamp, Covid and his spending were failures. The stupid shite he says and posts is mind boggling. His hiring of Milley and Wray and then not firing them was the breaking point for me.
There is a question of what Trump is and I have grave concerns. But there is no question in regards to what Biden and his communists will do and what they are doing. Those bastards are destroying this country. We can't have four more years of this.

Not a Desantis supporter, but waiting likely doesn't do him any good
*ETA: you have to make a LOT of assumptions to make the argument waiting was good

No, it was Trump who wore heels, flopped on Ukraine aid, hired a neocon vag to run his campaign, made awkward faces at every chance, ran for President right after getting elected as governor even though he promised to govern and then decided to run against Trump after begging for his endorsement and trying to bamboozle his base.

Trump deserves to be falsely accused, as he is doing exactly the same to others. Its called KARMA.
Even the Good Book discusses this effect.

More principled conservatives.
Ask Louisianians how well that worked out for them and Gov. Sloth.

He gets another 4 years of building on his Fla record. Certainly no other guv, less likely another politician will be able to run against his record. And probably has a decent shot at a Trump endorsement
He could have only defeated himself
Which he did. It glorious fashion

Look to this idiot, people.
He hates conservatives, and has lied repeatedly to make them look bad.
This is what you're falling into.

At least he has something successful to build on. Unlike Trump. Last we saw of Donny in office there was massive inflation and rioting.

had a DeSantis supporter tell me today if Trump is the nominee that he would not vote in the general election.
Said most his supporters would not vote for Trump and just stay home.
He probably considers Trump supporters "Cult45 Trumptards".
Ironically, stating that he only will vote for Ron and not Trump demonstrates beyond contest the "cult of personality" behavior along with a selfishness that overrules logic.
I'll vote for Ron if he gets the nomination, as long as his running mate isn't Nikki Haley.
I'll vote for Trump if he gets the nomination, as long as his running mate isn't Nikki Haley.
Nikki Haley supporters are the ones who'd never vote for Trump anyway, even if she were his VP pick. And she's also the only thing that would keep both "Team Rob!" and "Cult45" on the couch in November instead of in the booth.
I've only seen a couple "Team Rob!" posters on this board say they will refuse to cast a vote for Trump, and I've only seen a couple "Cult45" posters say they'll refuse to vote for Ron. These extremists are a vast minority. Most of us will vote for either one, as long as Haley isn't on the ticket. She is 100% the deal breaker, and that's a majority consensus of the board based on what I've seen. The only supporters she has here are the prog libs who are suddenly trying to convince people that they're actually "moderate conservatives".
That's very telling.

What difference does it make that he ran unsuccessfully in the 2024 Republican primary?

Nikki Haley would be a huge mistake and I don't think Trump will make it. But that begs a couple of questions -
1. Is Nikki Haley in the VP's office really a greater threat than Biden in the oval office?
2. What's the difference between Haley and Pence other than one wears a skirt?

I would say it's a push. Biden's team is running the show and he's just a warm body occupying space. Haley is intelligent, well-connected to the swamp and beholden to the MIC. To answer fairly, Haley as VP probably isn't as dangerous as the fraudulently installed White House occupant and his administration. But, that doesn't mean I'll vote for it. If she's on the ticket, we're finished anyway and I'm out.

Pence is a more subtle personality less likely to rock the boat. He pretty much towed the line with MAGA up until the last days when he dissented. Haley would be a far more active coup participant, in all likelihood.
Of course this is conjecture and there's no way to know without doing it, but I'd rather just not see an outspoken, lifelong NeoCon Establishment Uniparty warmonger who is completely owned by defense contractors, to occupy the #2 spot.
I'd seriously rather see pence there again than Haley. And that's hard to say.

I think Biden in the WH is lightyears more problematic than Haley in the VP's office. IMO - if Trump picks her (he won't), we need to vote Trump and count on DT keeping her quiet.

I’m not joking when I say that the cultists on this boards defense for him not firing the establishment is because the establishment wouldn’t let him.
