Many republicans are just democrats in disguise. Look at all of them that switched parties for political expediency.

This is why I call conservatives soft. They care more about appearances than results or even doing the right thing. It took Trump for even a few conservatives to realize they don't have to cower in fear every time they are called a racist.

People on the right are comprised of about 50% that have some moderate views
People on the left are comprised of about 10%.
Voting blocks are very easy to manipulate for the left. A candidate can’t be too unappealing for them.
Until the right side refuses to moderate, we will lose ground yearly.
