"Look how bad the democrats are" isn't going to work when you're the party who is in power, with control of the executive and both houses of congress, and you haven't done anything except pass absurd spending bills, send hundreds of billions of dollars overseas and get us into more wars.
If you can't look at Virginia and see what they will do to the whole country, if you can't see the democrats care more about illegals than citizens, and you still refuse to vote for the only party that can stop them, then you are too dumb to vote.
If you are willing to let the evil democrats gain power and destroy this country just because the Republicans aren't perfect, then you aren't thinking clearly.
It's insane that anyone would even consider doing anything that would give the democrats more power. But I can't say I'm surprised. Conservatives love to cut off their nose to spite their face. They would rather punish republican politicians (and themselves and their loved ones and the entire country) for being OK but not great by letting absolute evil run amok.
Republican politicians need to know we're not happy. And if we have to let democrats take power and forever change the course of the country by replacing Thomas and Alito, then so be it. What's a couple decades of leftist totalitarianism?
The smart move is to primary the Reps you don't like but begrudgingly vote for them in the general. You not voting for the Rep isn't going to bring the positive change you think it will. And inaction like not voting will certainly never bring the change you want.
I get that people are unhappy, but that's no reason to let the cure be worse than the disease. We still need to keep our heads.

Now then, tell us what of that $2T "protection" you'd support.
